Presentations

Ohkay..i have no idea why some people just keep quiet in class anymore these days.I mean its like RP and u cannot do well in RP if you keep quiet in class.You got to volunteer yourself,talk,ask questions and make friends.NOT SHUT UP AND SIT THERE LIKE AN ASS!!!WTF..Anyways just now was basic sciences.It was about blood.I was like oh shit.BIO.I was suppossed to be leader for my team but then decided against it as i have been a leader before.So i passed my job to HER.i thought she would handle the team well because she has been okay in presentations as i have observed.But it turns out that she was a log.She sits there like and ass.Doing god knows what with her laptop instead of talking to us,her teamates,and leading us forward.I decided that with just 1 hour to go to presentation i had to take this team back to me and lead them forward and TADAA the presentation was completed.I had assigned everyone to their slides including the 'leader' and told them what to do.I had the wonderful help of SERENE and MARFIE of course.They to me did well today especially SERENE with the slides and answering the questions that were thrown to my team.I had no form today.I cant answer back the questions back which i would normally would and i cant think or present properly.I really suck just now.I hope to find my old self back,focus to the PBL and keep getting As.

Oh yah.I now know 3 friends better.They are Marfie,Serene and Fatin.Those 3 were in my team yesterday and we did superb i tink.And Marfie and Serene were in my team again and they helped me get through this science presentation.Oh and JESSICA will really go hyper if shes bored.haha.

Oh and i got an A for my cognitive processes 1..Other than me i only knew Jun Yong had an A too..Oh and finally a leader is called a leader if only he leads his group forward no matter how hard the situation is.NOT SITTING AROUND DOING NOTHING.peace.E35E!!!

New School New everything

I started school at RP yesterday.New School.New classmates.New environment.New experiences.New friends.Let me start with yesterdays lesson.it was intriguing learning new things and trying out the new system.No more pens or pencils(though i bought new stationaries wth).Worksheets doscussions and homework all done in laptop.Its fun in a way as u can still surf the net and study at the same time.But i still havent gotten used to it coz i've been using pen and paper for like 11 years in my life.My class is a boisterous,loud,energetic and all the positive things u can say about them though some of them still haven warmed up to the class yet.Discussions were kind of fun.Exchanging ideas and listening to new ones that i did not think about.Presentations with my groups(since the 2 groups i've been in) were heated but with both sides of my group and the floor/audience giving questions and answering them.In the end, no one was hurt or injured as it benefits both my groups and the audience as we would then have ideas to share and talk about.Let me tell u about the new friends that i have.Douglas-another big sized person in my class other than me.Huge talker.Always contributing to the class.Asking lots of relevent and irrelevent questions.Azlan-The oldest person in my class.Status-married with 3 kids.Full of experience.Big and loud voice.Can be easily mistaken for a facilitator there.Old at age but young at heart.Hidayat-Another good talker.Can answer questions with ease and confidence.Jessica-BINGO LOVER!!!Have similar ideas as mine during class just now.Funny and one of the fun girls in class.Fen Ming-Always late for class.Give assurance with his presentations.Has a good general knowledge.Andrew-The only indian guy in the class.Friendly and approachable.Anita aka nita.Loudest girl in class.The one i always look to cheekily.Then theres 2 more who i dun noe the names but played VIwawa Big 2.5 with me just now.And others who i havent really talked much to.K im done here.

I really enjoy being in RP.I can talk non stop and noone 's gonna stop me or scold me.haha.And i can contribute unlimited answers.And i can argue for my rights during presentations.HAHA.Things i cannot do during Secondary School life.

Orientation was kinda boring.Met one new friend.A chinese.Oh and i also befriended a 30+ year old guy.He's taking Sports course.First day in classroom was cold.But not that cold for me to take out my sweater.The guys in my class were crappy.Saying all stupid things which were not funny.Sumhow i have this feelings that i wont make alot of new friends in polytechnic.I prefer my old friends like Sabrina,Annette,YP and others.I feel more at ease with them.I dunno maybe i havent find people who fits into my circle of friends.I wanna make friends but somehow i feel that they find me erm i dunno rather unapproachable?I dunno.But nvm Monday officially starts my new day in my new school.Republic Polytechnic.Pharmaceutical Sciences.New chapter in my lifestory.Wish me luck.

Next topic.ITEs.I find them okay now a days as ITEs are improving rapidly from A school which many refer to as Its The End,to now Institute Of tecnical Education.Many nowadays realise that ITEs are not bad at all.There are some ITEs which now offers Diplomas in their syllabus.But nevertheless there are still some sceptics who still looks down to ITE students."they will go like oh ur from ITE so what,wads next??'.Instead of 'hey do ur best in ITE u can still achieve wad u want.Come On!!!!We will support u all the way.'But still i can't deny that most of my friends are in ITE.And i appreciate them coz they are some of the best i've ever had along with my 4A3 friends.ITE students are not stupid.They are just slow but really smart.Trust me guys some of my friends can count faster than me.They can be the best that they can be with the support.I don't look down on ITE students i respect them as much as i respect my peers in POLYs or JCs.Its just that most of the people in Singapore dun realise that without ITEs, these students cannot go anywhere.They will be discouraged and feels that Singapore is fine without them and that they are redundant.Its only a minority of students that brings down the ITEs ' good name.Even our MM Mr Lee Quan Yew praised the ITE education system.These students can study.Its just that they need more motivation to do it.Its just the matreps and minareps who dun wanna study.
