Hari raya was tiring.

It still is.

I don't mind though.

Seeing relatives once a year.

Its priceless.

I will never know if I will see them again next year.

Raya Money is not that much.

People think that im the oldest child in the family.

They thought my older sister is my younger sister.

Nevermind.

25 more days to go till i collect my full hari raya money.

Yesterday,

My family went to house visitng for hari raya.

We Went to this particular house.

It was an old couple house.

The husband was asleep.

So the wife which is my "nenek"

which is grandma in malay,

entertained us.

She was old.

Her memory was bad.

Real Bad.

I think she got Alzheimer's disease.

But not in the final stages.

She couldn't remeber what happened in the day

nor what happened 5mins ago.

I was sad.

But she could remeber what happened to her when she was young.

Thinking how this couple could get on with life alone.

Their children are old around 50+.

I believe that they visit her occasionally.

She kept saying the same thing over and over agin.

Then i thought to myself again.

(yes I do think alot)

Will this happen to me when I reach that age?

Will forget those around me.

My family, friends, relatives or maybe even my wife?

Will this disease hit everone in that age.

The report about Alzheimer's disease came out a few weeks back.

I never do realise that it was so close to me.

Do you?

I think I got my motivation back to do well in class,

Presentation and also RJs.

Time to get back my As and finish the sem well

then off to Uni.
